2. Skill development - passing & decision making -
Team of 5 v 1v1v1v1v1

How to play

• Groups of five
• Long channel
• Five nominated defenders in each channel
• One ball per group.


The defenders stand one behind the
other, 5m apart. The defenders are only
allowed to move sideways. The
attacking team of five players must beat
each defender in turn and score a try at
the end of the channel. Any attacker
who is tackled can play no further part in the move. In a group of 30 players, there would be two sets of five
defenders and four teams of five attackers, so two attacking teams taking turns in each channel.
