Helpful hints for coaching rugby in schools

If you are to coach in a school during the school day or even after school finishes, here are some useful ideas to make sure you are welcome in the school and invited back!

  1. Induction visit to a new school:
    • It is advisable to ring the school a day or two before you start to introduce yourself and to confirm your arrival time
    • Arrive extra early on the day you are to start – allow ½ hour, so you can meet the Head and ensure you know and understand the following points:
